Om Gaia

I have experience taking care of all kinds of dogs - small and big ones - and I have helped my sister take care of rescue dogs in the US. I am the proud part-time owner of two little Schnauzers but I would love to spend more time with dogs, so I thought I'd try this! I can take care of your dogs during weekends and on weekday evenings, as well as for longer periods of time when you are on vacation! I live in central Stockholm.
I have worked with all kinds of dogs - from rescue pitt bulls to cuddly pugs. My favorite activity to do with dogs is to go to the dog park where they can run free behind the fence. I do some basic agility and obedience training as well - for example, teaching dogs to wait for a command before eating a treat, and to make eye contact. The best times are in the autumn when we run around and play with the leaves! It is also quite special to get to know each dog as an individual, since they are all different.

As a person I am quite calm and I enjoy reading and classical music. I work as a programmer and my favorite time is when I am at home having tea and reading a book with a tired, happy doggy cuddling next to me.

Gaia is experienced with all sorts of different dogs of all sizes and had an immediate connection with Coco (7 months and 30 kilos). Gaia is sweet and kind and Coco seems to have had an interesting and chill time with her and the cat.
